How far in advance do I need to order my cake/treats?

Please try to order your cake, cake pops, cookies, cupcakes or gelatin cake as soon as possible or minimum 15 days prior to the event; Wedding Cakes one month minimum in advance. Orders may be placed by email at  A non-refundable deposit of 50% is due at time of order placement. Balance is due in full one-day prior to delivery.

Following your inquiry, your quote is valid for up to 1 month (Wedding Cakes) or 7 Days for others inquiries. We kindly request paying your deposit that will secure this price and the spot in our schedule.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, we do. Orders will be on our schedule once we have received a non-refundable 50% deposit of total of your quote/order (included delivery fee) by PayPal (you don't need to have PayPal account) also is very easy and safe; however, as answer to many of my customers, you can pay in full at same PayPal invoice of your order. Remaining balance must be paid at least one-day prior to your delivery date through PayPal. We only accept cash at delivery time. If your deposit is not paid within maximum 7 days of quoting then we reserve the right to cancel any previous arrangements.

If your order is not paid in full at delivery date, your order will cannot be delivered.

All deposit (50%) are non-negotiable and priced according to your exact design and the size of your cake.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept Credit/Debit Cards through PayPal (deposit) and cash or check (payable to Alys Cakes & Bakery LLC) of remaining balance at time of your delivery.

What is your cancellation policy?

We reserved your event date for your exclusive order, any cancellation must be made no later than seven (7) days prior to event date, or the aforementioned deposit will not refundable. All requests for cancellation must be made in writing by email at

If an order is not picked up on the day of delivery or delivery is denied, the client is responsible for the remaining balance.

Please note  delivery/setup time is final as noted on your order. Changes to delivery/setup must be confirmed no later than seven (7) days prior to event.

What is the smaller cake I can order?

The smaller cake that we made is for 15-24 servings (approx.) - 8 inches round cake and the price starts from $116 Basic Design Cakes and increase depending on the cake size, number of tiers and complexity of design.

What happens if I need to alter my order?

It is your responsibility to read & check the quote and order thoroughly; any amendments to design should be made in writing.

If requested, we will endeavor to adjust the design where possible, but sometimes this is not possible according to the nature of the request or amount of notice given. If the alteration affects the cost, or preparation work for the original design has already been undertaken, then your balance will be adjusted accordingly. Please warn us when you pay your deposit if you are undecided on the design.

We reserve the right to change the design at any point if circumstances beyond my control, may compromise the quality of the finished cake, e.g. melting due to weather.

Each cake is made individually by hand, so although every effort is made to ensure consistency, a small amount of variation may occur from the design requested / picture supplied.

Do you offer cake tasting?

Yes, we do. To book a tasting we kindly request minimum a 50 servings of Wedding Cake in your order. Tastings are $50 (paid by PayPal), but this fee will be deducted from the cost of your cake when you place your order. Include a variety of cupcakes to sample (maximum 3 flavors and 3 fillings). If you should need to reschedule, or cancel, we ask that you contact us no later than 1 week in advance. In the event that an appointment is missed or canceled less than 1 week before the appointment your tasting fee will not be refunded.

The tasting hours are from 10:00am to 1:00pm Tues thru Friday in Windermere FL 34786. To make an appointment please send an email at with your name, available days and hours for you, theme of your celebration, and flavors and fillings that you wish to taste (maximum 3 flavors and 3 fillings). During the meeting, we will discuss the design of your cake, so please bring any pictures, invitations, decoration, etc., that may help us come up with something perfect for your celebration. The tasting lasts 1 hour and we ask that you arrive on time to ensure that you are allotted your full hour.

Do you make gluten-free, dairy-free or eggless cakes?

Unfortunately not yet. At this time we don’t work with gluten-free, dairy-free or eggless products. We really apologized if we cause any inconvenience.

What happens with non-edible items on cakes?

Most cakes are totally edible but some times cakes contain small proportions of inedible items; it is the client’s responsibility to ensure these are removed by your caterer/guests before consumption e.g. support dowels in tiered cakes, ribbon, wires in sugar flowers, crystals, flower picks & flower tape, etc.

Some flowers (e.g. Ivy) are poisonous and not suitable for use on food products, you should notify your flower supplier of your intention to use the flowers on food to ensure that non-poisonous flowers are used.

Do you deliver?

Yes, we do. All orders are delivered within the great Orlando area.

Alys Cakes & Bakery LLC is located in Windermere FL 34786; therefore deliveries fee within Windermere area is $10. Delivery fee outside of that area are determined by distance.

Alys Cakes & Bakery LLC accepts no liability for any damages made to the product and/or its decorations after it has left under your responsibility (customer). This includes any damages caused during transport for self pick up.

How can I storage my order before my event?


Please store your cake, cupcakes, cake pops and/or cookies in a cool, dry and shady room until your celebration. Refrigeration is not recommended because it can incur severe damage on the decoration.

Only Decorated Gelatins needs refrigeration until your celebration day and they can stay out refrigeration for at least 6 hours.

How can I storage my cake after my event?


Your cake/cupcakes is baked to ensure it is fresh for the date of your event, we cannot guarantee its quality if it’s consumed more than 48 hours after the event. Our treats are made entirely of natural ingredients, so we’d like to remind you that because of this they will not have the extended shelf life of most supermarket cakes, which contain additives and preservatives to ensure their prolonged life. Freezing the cake however, preserves the taste and icing as much as feasibly possible, but please bear in mind that it will affect the visual appearance of the icing, as condensation will form upon defrosting.

If you plan to keep any of the cakes tiers, food hygiene recommendations recommend that food should only be frozen for a maximum of 3 months.

Sugar paste cakes should not be refrigerated, as it will cause condensation to form on the surface of the icing. Refrigeration also accelerates the staling of the flour into cake.

Cake pops and cookies will be perfect in a cool, dry and shady room.
